Introduction to Hula Hooping
HOOP! There it is is a six-week hula hoop exercise class for kids and teens ages 4-12, held every Tuesday from 4-5pm at the Waupaca Recreation Center. This fun-filled class combines fitness and play, helping young participants improve coordination, strength, and confidence in an energetic environment. Kids can drop in for a single class or sign up for the full session to master new skills, learn exciting hoop tricks, and enjoy group games. Perfect for an after-school energy boost, HOOP! In our first session, kids will get introduced to the basics of hula hooping! This beginner-friendly class is designed to teach hooping fundamentals, including posture, spinning, and balance. Kids ages 4-12 will learn the core movements and get comfortable with their hoops, all while having fun and building confidence. Perfect for newcomers and a great foundation for the rest of the series. Drop-ins welcome!
